This is a friend of ~Posh-Tim ... A few months ago, when cash was diminished and rum a rare find, Jon gave me a bottle of Morgan in exchange for a painting (this one)

... Occasionally I get commissioned for rum, but that's the way of the Pirate

Originally I had intended for Jon to look like a regal chess piece, but for some reason he ended up looking like a Space-Time Traveller with a flair for Steampunk


Boring Stuff-
Time taken- A while, I got distracted by other projects, most of the painting was done over 3 days.
Equipment- Canvas board, pencil, reference picture, acrylics, brushes, varnish.
Fuelled by- Music, films, lack of food, rum.
